VWFHYP Series – Butyl Vapor Permeable Tape (External)

High-performance building envelope product designed for water resistance, vapor management, air-tightness and long-term wall durability.

Product Overview

VWFHYP Series Butyl Vapor Permeable Tape is a premium self-adhesive exterior sealing tape designed for window and door openings in low-energy and high-performance building envelopes. Applied to the outside of windows and doors, it helps block liquid water intrusion while allowing trapped moisture vapor to escape from the wall assembly.

As an external vapor-permeable flashing tape, VWFHYP supports outward drying and helps reduce condensation risk around window and door details. It is especially suitable for European low-energy window installation methods where the exterior side must remain weather-resistant, airtight, and vapor-open.
