VWFAYP Series - Butyl Vapor Barrier Tape (Internal)

High-performance building envelope product designed for water resistance, vapor management, air-tightness and long-term wall durability.

Product Overview

VWFAYP Series Butyl Vapor Barrier Tape is an advanced self-adhesive internal sealing tape designed for the interior side of window and door openings in low-energy and high-performance building envelopes. It provides a high vapor-resistance layer to help prevent indoor moisture vapor from diffusing into the wall cavity.

Used together with an exterior vapor-permeable sealing tape, VWFAYP helps create a proper inside-tight / outside-open window installation detail. It improves airtightness around window and door frames, supports condensation control, and helps reduce unwanted energy loss at critical opening transitions.
