Vantell Utility Moisture Flash (UMF) is a moisture and vapor barrier designed for critical foundation and sill plate details. It is installed between concrete foundations and timber sill plates to help block moisture migration, reduce capillary wicking, and protect the wood structure from mold, rot, and long-term moisture damage.
With a convenient 12-inch width and 36 m roll length, UMF is suitable for foundation sill plates, concrete-to-wood transitions, and other moisture-sensitive connection details within the building envelope.
